If you want results, stop training so hard

My friend, you’re training too hard.

I shall explain: I reckon you go to the gym at least three days per week.

Maybe four, possibly even five.

And yet, despite shedding buckets of sweat you don’t look a whole lot different now than you did last year.

Or the year before… or the year before…

And so on.

Truth is, your attention is in all the wrong places, and this is why you’re frustrated working your backside off for no results.

If you need to lose fat (and you do, otherwise why are you still reading?), then training just TWO days per week in the gym is plenty sufficient.

Why?

In the gym, your focus ought to be on doing high-quality, productive work. I.e. barbell lifts with a smattering of assistance exercises to prevent injury and build muscle in the right places.

Two days per week is plenty sufficient to accomplish this.

The reason you feel you need to train more than that is because you’re wasting your time farting about with tonnes of low-quality, unproductive, unnecessary exercises.

So, cut all that stuff out and use the time you free up to:

1) Invest in your family and other interests.

2) Get outside in the fresh air and do some damn cardio.

3) Attend to the thorny matter of sorting out your diet.

Bottom line: With the right approach, you can train less and get better results.

What’s not to like?

Exactly.
