Brexit Pitbull strikes again

“Imagine being dyslexic or having a learning disability and you get [censored] on by Brexit Pitbull for not reading a book they wrote in a week and are charging 175 Euros for.”

Was part of a comment left on one of my social media posts selling my book “Shift”.

A few problems here:

1. I actually go to great lengths to make sure my sales pages are as easy as possible for people with dyslexia and other learning difficulties (like, for example, ADHD) to read. That’s why they’re in a large-ish black font on a plain white background with plentiful white space and consist of mostly bulleted lists.

2. I didn’t vote in the Brexit referendum because I was busy charging around the countryside in an ambulance out of a station some two hours from where I was living at the time, so when I got home the polling station was shut. I suppose I could have made the time to vote before work, but as I didn’t feel strongly either way I decided I was better off getting an extra hour of sleep to better serve my patients.

3. I charge in pounds, not euros because I live in the United Kingdom. (I also only sell to people who live in the UK because I don’t want to create tax liabilities around the world or fork out for international shipping).

Anyway.

I’m not entirely sure what drives some men to tear down other men who are simply trying to keep their wives and kiddos fed and housed.

Although I suspect it has a lot to do with deep-seated insecurities they have about their weight, relationship with their wife/girlfriend (or lack thereof), being under the cosh of some Karen in HR at work, and so on.

But here’s the thing: If they funnelled even an ounce of the energy they waste being catty online into training and eating right, they’d probably feel a lot better about their lot.

Mainly because people would start respecting them because they would become respectable.

They’d probably also begin taking steps to improve their lives considerably outside of training and eating:

Rekindling their relationship with their spouse if they have one, or finding one if they don’t.

Starting a little business of their own or looking for a better job so they don’t have to put up with Comrade Karen’s DEI nonsense anymore.

It’s amazing what training, eating, and living with discipline and diligence do to a man’s psyche.

I swear it’s the only thing that’s kept me (relatively) sane over the years.

It’s certainly responsible for my ability to live life on my terms with the wholehearted support of my beautiful wife, two smart, well-behaved children (with a third on the way), and much more besides.

Something to think about while you peruse the below-linked letter which explains how you can work with me personally and privately for less than the price of some tubs of whey protein.
