Time for a change of pace.
We begin:
You can follow the best programme in the world, but if things are amiss with the way you live, all your earnest work will be for nought.
I’m not being hyperbolic just to scare you.
Many moons ago, I was a shift worker and that lifestyle played havoc with my ability to get consistent results.
I still managed it (the exact methods I used are detailed in my inventively titled book “Shift”). But I’m not going to sit here and pretend I wouldn’t have achieved a lot more in my 20s had I worked a “normal” job.
The point?
What you get up to outside of the gym will, in large part, determine the results you get from the work you do inside of it.
Enter this October’s issue of “The Phil Tyreman Letter”.
This 20-page King Sized issue has very little to do with training per se (although I have still squeezed a programme in there for you to study, adapt, and benefit from).
Instead, it’s all about creating the right environment for success.
Specifically, my method for balancing training, working, serving, resting, and relaxing.
Essential ingredients one and all – if you are interested in not only training for a long time, but also getting consistent results from all the hard work you are putting in.
