Writing the sales page for my new book, Shift, brought up some funny memories of all the stupid things I did in the gym to try and get results despite my insane (yet somehow perfectly legal) rota.
Stupid things like…
- Training two, three, and, very occasionally, four times per day on my days off to “make up” for not being able to go to the gym for longer than I’d like due to a run of night shifts or whatever.
- Not training for four or more days on the bounce due to work, even though I definitely could have with a bit of forward planning. (I ended up wasting a lot of time and losing strength, muscularity, and definition because these gaps made it impossible to follow a proper programme).
- Annihilating my left hip trying to set a back squat personal best when I was so tired I could barely keep my eyes open.
- Following a pants-on-head stupid diet I found in some dingy corner of the internet that literally made my retinas bleed because I couldn’t be bothered to spend a couple of hours preparing meals on my days off.
- Sacrificing my social life on the altar of “getting strong” because I had this idiotic all-or-nothing attitude towards training at the time.
And so on.
Yeah, I was a bit of a Silly Salmon back then.
Whatever.
I made those mistakes so you don’t have to.
See, Shift gives you a clear and concise system you can use to build a powerful physique, even if you regularly find yourself unsure of exactly what day it is.
The intended audience is men who work shifts (hence the title), although men who are very busy for other reasons (e.g. they have young children or run their own business) may also benefit hugely from the material.
Either way, if you’re interested, please read the letter below carefully to ensure any decision to pre-order is an informed one:
Thank you,

P.S. If you are subscribed to The Phil Tyreman Letter, do not pre-order the book from the above page.
I’ve got something very special for you up my sleeve that I won’t be sharing with anyone else, ever.
All will be revealed in the letter I’m sending in the envelope with February’s issue.
