Woman injects knock-off fat jabs with predictable results

Was not surprised to stumble upon a news article about a woman who carked it after injecting some knock-off fat jabs.

The story goes she paid a beautician £20 to take her into a back room and jab her (without prepping the site or even washing her hands) with what she was told was Mounjaro a number of times before falling ill and shuffling off this mortal coil.

The article does not say the injections directly caused her death (apparently definitive test results are pending).

But we do know our unfortunate heroine wasn’t poked with what she thought she was being poked with (her shots contained semaglutide rather than tirzepatide), which means the beautician probably didn’t know what was in the syringe either. And, speaking as someone who administered all sorts of medications once upon a time, that is a recipe for utter disaster.

As appears to have been the case on this sad occasion.

That said, I am not especially sympathetic.

The story is a prime example of the high cost of “cheap” and also the lengths some will travel to save what is, in the grand scheme of things, a fairly small sum of money.

Consider:

A cursory Google says you can purchase a month’s supply of Mounjaro for between £150 and £200 per month.

A price affordable by anyone who can eat the cost of purchasing the food needed to get and stay fat enough to need the injections in the first place.

Not that I would encourage anyone to take these medications.

Firstly, because I am not a doctor nor do I profess to be one.

And secondly because I remain unconvinced of their efficacy beyond the short term.

What you have to remember is, the jabs basically override the need to change your attitude towards food and exercise, and live a virtuous life in general. So while a person who takes them may appear thinner on the outside, they remain fat on the inside, figuratively speaking.

In this regard, it’s no different to the weak guy who is stuck squatting 200lbs and decides to “solve” the problem by pumping himself full of Test-E and surfing the anabolic wave to a 500lbs squat and beyond.

His results are unearned because it’s the drugs what did the work. He learned nothing. Overcame nothing.

And so, if he stops taking the substances for any reason (e.g. nasty side effects), he winds up right back where he started.

Probably a lot worse off actually, because he didn’t need to do things like fix problems with his lifting form before slapping more weight on the bar.

It’s a tale I’ve seen play out more times than I care to mention and I am sure I will see play out again (albeit in a different context) with the rise of these fat jabs.

Anyway.

If you’ve got a “weight problem” and you’d like to work with me personally and privately to fix it in a safe, sane, and sustainable way by using a “Training First” approach, you are in luck because I am looking for clients.

Fair warning: It’ll cost you more per month than a box of Mounjaro, and the results will be slower in coming and a lot harder to earn.

But you will earn them.

And you will likely keep them as well, provided you follow my instructions (and continue following them after we have parted ways).

If that’s alright with you, behold your next steps:

1. Take the “Training Confidence Quiz” at the below URL,

2. Read your results carefully to see if you agree with my appraisal of your situation,

3. Book a call (calendar is at the bottom of the results page), and we’ll talk.

Thank you,

Phil Tyreman

P.S. If you are wondering why I am requiring you to book a call if you’re interested in this, it’s so you can decide if you like my style and attitude, more than anything.

What it is not is a “hard sell”.

Truth is, I couldn’t care less which way you decide. With all the stress and hassle involved in running a business, it makes infinitely more sense to take a steady paycheque from a normal job than it does to take on bad-fit clients.

Anyway. If you’re keen to learn more, first go and take the “Training Confidence Quiz” so you can find out if yours are problems I can fix:
