Why modern fitness programmes are mostly untenable

If you are struggling to get results commensurate with your efforts in the gym, it’s quite possibly because you’re training too much.

How so?

As you get older, you begin to accumulate responsibilities and obligations – typically in the arenas of work and family, but also towards the wider community in some cases (think: scouts/guides leadership, church, school governership, and so on).

All requiring not only a significant investment of time, but also of physical and emotional energy that you would otherwise plow into your training.

Hence, conventional gym programmes requiring you to lift three or four days per week and do cardio on top become untenable.

Sure, you keep up with (most of) your sessions, but you invariably end up “going through the motions” the vast majority of the time because you’re physically spent and your head is spinning with all the tasks, troubles, and outright crises that are yours and yours alone to manage.

The fix?

Train less.

That way you’ll hit the gym with enough gas in your tank to train with the concentration and exertion required to move the needle.

The tradeoff?

Progress will certainly be slower than it is with the usual methods.

But I would take slow progress over no progress, which I’d hazard is the situation you are in if you have read this far.

So.

If you would like to learn how to get stronger and more in shape while training less (but still training hard), I heartily recommend my three month programme:

“Silver Era Secrets”

Obviously my recommendation is biased, so be sure to read all the information on the sales page carefully before deciding if it suits your needs.

Speaking of the sales page, make haste to it because the price is going up significantly tomorrow (8/1) at 23:59:
