The evil fantasies of a kind and tolerant man

Earlier this year, I got asked by a guy to write a book on strength and conditioning for amateur martial artists that he could give to delegates of talks he was giving on fighting and whatnot.

(The idea being people would read it and potentially avail themselves of a product or service of mine at some point).

But alas, the chap turned out to be a total whackjob harbouring dark fantasies of using a hunting knife to “take out” people he disagrees with on matters sociopolitical. Disappointing, albeit not surprising considering the fellow is a fully paid up member of the “kind and tolerant” brigade.

No matter.

I still went ahead and wrote the book anyway because it’s an interesting subject I have a fair amount to say about, despite being unable to fight my way out of a paper bag (a fact working to the reader’s advantage, for reasons I outline inside).

It’s just now my former associate’s audience won’t benefit from the fruit of my large and shapely brain. Probably for the best, if they are anything like him which, let’s be honest, they most likely are. Don’t want to wind up on a list should one of them ventilate someone’s neck for having the wrong opinion, after all.

If you want the book, you can either get the paperback from Amazon or you can get a digital copy along with four of my other books for less than the price of buying it individually as part of:

“Phil Tyreman’s Big Book of Fitness”

It’s a fiver, and you can pick it up here:

Thank you,

Phil Tyreman
