Ragebait for hopeless parents

Came a question in response to something I wrote about our family’s morning routine.

===

“You get your kids up at 5am?”

===

Actually, we don’t get them up at all.

Both Connie (who is four today) and Marcus (18 months or thereabouts) wake naturally – as do Jess and I at just before 0500.

Connie proceeds to get herself dressed and downstairs while Jess sorts Marcus and I make breakfast. We then eat together as a family before me and Jess do our morning cardio in shifts or we all go out for a walk as a family.

This is how it is 7 days per week, 365 days per year.

Never is there ever stress, fuss, or hassle – and everyone is ready and raring to tackle whatever the day has in store.

So it is with training.

There are plenty of men who say being fit, strong, and capable is important to them yet their actions tell a very different story. (Just as there are plenty of parents who claim to want well-behaved, healthy children yet their actions reveal they’re not truly bothered about the hellion(s) they’ve raised).

Something to think about – particularly for those who claim they “don’t have time” to train.

In keeping with the family theme, it’s Connie’s fourth birthday today – and, ever the profiteering little weasel, Yours Baldly has decreed the book I wrote to her (titled “The Constance Chronicles”) is on sale for a mind-bending discount until 23:59 BST tonight.

Not gonna lie, this is a very strange book. A collection of letters to be precise (one for every day in January bar the first because I forgot). However, for those who are capable of applying a dash of critical thinking, there’s enough in there to last a lifetime.

In any case, please read the below letter very carefully because I don’t want you to buy this on a whim. It’s an expensive book (even with the discount) and it won’t do anything for you unless you’re prepared to put what you learn into action.

If you decide to purchase, enter the code LADY at the checkout to claim the discount.

Wait until you see the price drop before proceeding.
