The last few days, X/Twitter has been awash with conservatives and libertarians wishing pain and, in some cases, death upon doctors for the heinous crime of…
… exercising their democratic right to withdraw their labour during a pay dispute.
Seems these types are all for the free market until it affects them negatively, and then it’s off to the gulag with those pesky troublemakers.
Stalin would be proud.
Towering hypocrites.
Anyway, this is relevant because the socialist pipe dream that is “arrr NHS” is finished.
A lot of people say I’m wrong, but what they don’t understand is organisations of this size are like those massive freight trains you see in the US that take a mile or more to stop when the driver hits the emergency brake.
In other words, they don’t stop functioning altogether overnight; they chug along for ages kinda-sorta working until they’re replaced by something else.
I believe that “something else” will be predominantly insurance-based private healthcare provision, with some limited state and/or charitable provision of unprofitable services like emergency medicine and inpatient psychiatric care.
And that means we’re going to have to take much better care of our health if we want to avoid extreme insurance premiums and shelling out for medications, excesses, and such (If you’ve ever owned a pet that’s gotten sick, you’ll know chronic conditions can get very expensive very quickly).
Ultimately, the days of being able to rely on other people to foot the bill for your poor lifestyle choices will soon be upon us.
A good thing?
I think so.
Not because I think it’ll result in better health outcomes for the population at large. A glance across the pond at the “fattest country in the world” tells you it probably won’t. The truth is, I don’t like having my money stolen from me under threat of violence to pay for other people’s problems.
Anyway, one thing that will help you stay fit, strong, and, most importantly, healthy is subscribing to The Phil Tyreman Letter.
Not because it contains any magical health “hacks” or “secrets”; because it doesn’t. Actually, nothing I write about is new or exciting because it’s grounded in proven principles that have stood the test of time. (Swathes of my philosophy are based on material that’s been around for a century or longer).
Moreover, while it’s affordable for basically anyone who wants it, it’s not cheap – and this is important because it ensures you have sufficient “skin in the game” so you use what I teach you and get outstanding results.
The deadline to subscribe in time to get January’s issue is midnight tonight (4th).
You won’t want to miss this one because it teaches you how to plan your training for the entire year. If you follow my process and do the work, you won’t recognise the man looking back at you come December.

Thank you,

P.S. Subscribers also get “virtually unlimited” access to me via email for any queries I’m qualified to answer. You can also use this service to have me do a full video critique of your exercise form, get your programme tweaked for best results (but I won’t write you one from scratch), or anything else I can reasonably assist you with over email.
This amounts to on-tap access to an expert whenever you want for specific advice, which is certainly better value for money than protein powder, pre-workout, and other supplements that promise the world yet have no measurable impact on your results.
