Four issues bedevilling amateur martial artists

A significant minority of people who come to me for assistance with getting strong and in shape are amateur martial artists.

Typically, they’re struggling with one or more of the following:

* Unshakeable low-level fatigue (that can have them convinced they have some disease of a “low T” problem despite all medical tests coming back normal),

* Little desire to train outside of their martial arts practice (even though they know they must),

* Niggling injuries (particularly to the elbows, shoulders, hips, and knees),

* Body image issues (from carrying too much timber or too little muscle).

Hence, I have decided to write a very short book explaining a straightforward method of strength and conditioning for these hardy and hardworking folk.

There is a catch.

I am not a martial artist.

In fact, I have never so much as thrown a punch at another human being and would last approximately three seconds in a fight (but it probably would never get that far as I’m more likely to run away screaming like a little girl).

However.

I believe this grants me a rare degree of objectivity when discussing what amateurs actually need. (I.e. something simple that slots seamlessly alongside your fighting training while also developing the strength, cardiorespiratory fitness, and general physical preparedness many non-professional fighters sorely lack).

The book is available in paperback from Amazon for a mere £6.50.

There are no reviews because not only is this a new title but it’s also the first time I have mentioned it.

Moreover, I don’t expect it to garner many (if any) reviews in the near future because my following is very small and it doesn’t make economic sense for me to pay to advertise such an inexpensive title.

If you’re OK with all of that, get the book here:

Thank you,

Phil Tyreman

P.S. If you decide to purchase, please leave an honest review after you’ve finished reading the book. (Don’t just give me five stars because you like me or want to help out.)
