What follows may make you extremely uncomfortable.
Here are some facts:
* Physical inactivity is one of the leading risk factors for noncommunicable disease and death;
* Physical inactivity is associated with one in six deaths in the UK;
* Physical inactivity can cause serious and disabling health conditions like heart attacks – even in the absence of other risk factors;
* One in three men (and one in two women) are not active enough for good health; And,
* People tend to get less active with age.
Bottom line: If you choose not to train with discipline and intent, all the evidence shows you are, quite literally, putting your life in danger.
A hard pill to swallow, particularly for family men who say they would like to live to see not only their kids but their grandkids grow up (and, most importantly, play an active part in their lives), yet refuse to train for some reason or another.
Nonetheless, it’s the unblemished truth – and I’d be doing you a disservice if I failed to point it out.
Your choice is a simple one:
You can continue on your current course – perhaps training in fits and spurts until you fall off the wagon and lose whatever progress you’ve made.
Alternatively, you can get the information and advice you need to make reliable, consistent, and sustainable progress, get a powerful physique, and, ultimately, lead a healthier, happier life.
I think it’s an easy decision, particularly as I’ll give you what you need on a hot, sizzling plate for less than the price of a large tub of whey protein.
But only until 23:59 on Sunday the 28th of April.
After that, the price of a subscription to The Phil Tyreman Letter will increase substantially.
