From a conversation with a subscriber on our mutual interests in business and marketing:

“Here’s why I’m doing what I’m doing, if you’re interested:
My overriding concern is *not* coming across like other fitness marketers/coaches because I believe it gives people unrealistic expectations of what’s possible — without taking steroids, doing an insane diet, smashing yourself into the ground, or some combination thereof.
It’s perhaps a stupid idea. Arguably insane, given there is a proven path right there for me to follow yet I’ve chosen to attempt to hack my way through the undergrowth with a blunt machete.
But I’ve decided this is how it must be.
Principally to set the best possible example to my kids and also to minimise disappointed buyers (and the stress stemming thereof).”

Translation:
I will never lie to you.
‘Cuz here’s the thing. I can’t and therefore won’t promise you any specific results if we work together.
Hence, I’m not going to say you’ll lose X pounds of fat in just Y weeks or slap on A pounds of muscle in B months then trot out the two clients who achieved it like prize show ponies (while quietly brushing the dozens or hundreds who didn’t under the carpet).
What I can promise you is to give you my very best information and bountiful support to help you get into the best possible shape you are capable of – taking into account the stresses and pressures of work, business, family, other hobbies and interests, etc, etc, etc.
If that’s not enough for you then I suggest you go and find someone who doesn’t think twice about making specific results-based claims while hiding the reality in the small print.
Otherwise, you’ll find the details of my three-month programme for men who want to build muscle and strength naturally, “Silver Era Secrets” below:
