I get a lot of complaints about how I sometimes use these emails to air my sociopolitical laundry.
But here’s the thing:
Painful experience has taught me that those who jibe with my views tend to do very well with my fitness teachings and those who don’t, well, don’t.
Which makes sense, given my worldview is one wherein the individual, whilst not necessarily responsible for their circumstances, is *always* responsible for their actions. (With the obvious exceptions of those who are so mentally and/or physically unwell they cannot do anything of note to improve their lot).
Consider:
If a person believes themselves a victim of unseen oppressive forces, then anything “bad” that happens to them, be it getting passed over for a promotion or an expanding waistline cannot possibly be their fault.
Hence, they’re always on the lookout for “someone” to do “something” to help them – usually involving force – to make the world an easier, gentler, kinder place for them to live.
The fact these interventions invariably come at the expense of others is neither here nor there, such is their profound degree of entitlement.
Insofar as fitness is concerned, they want the government to silence people like me who have the temerity to point out that their sloth and greed has life-limiting, and, in some cases, life-ending consequences and that maybe, just maybe, they could do something about it – if they wanted to.
But they don’t want to.
Because they are lazy and greedy.
Whatever.
That is them and you are you.
And if you’d like to have a conversation with your bald, ugly, and problematic fitness fairy godmother, my diary is open for calls.
There is a fee.
When you book, you’ll get an hour to talk with me about whatever you like training-wise.
Be aware that it’s only an hour’s call, so please only bring ONE problem you’d like me to help you solve.
Pay for the call at the link below.
I’ll email you a link to my calendar promptly once I’ve received confirmation of your payment:
