Eight figures of legend worth studying

Eight names to study, if you are interested in training productively without “chemical help”:

1. Steve Reeves

2. Reg Park

3. Clancy Ross

4. John Grimek

5. Arthur Saxon

6. Vince Gironda

7. George Hackenschmidt

8. Eric Pederson

Plenty available on all of the above, their routines, lifestyle, diets, etc. from Google including scans of ancient Real Paper magazine articles (forums are your best bet for those).

Mostly free, too. Certainly enough free info on these fellas to get you moving in the right direction (or moving faster, if you are already on the correct course).

This is my free Facebook Group wherein I talk about subjects that will greatly benefit people who are serious about getting strong and in shape in a smart, sustainable fashion.

Including stuff that never makes it into these emails, The Phil Tyreman Letter (my paid Real Paper newsletter), my books, or courses.

Good example of that is the article awaiting you upon joining called:

“Strength Secrets of a Suburban Superwoman”

It’s easily one of the most problematic things I have ever written. I say that because inside I mansplain the system I had Jess follow to get into the best shape of her life mere months after birthing our third child.

Better (or worse, depending on how much of a cat lady/white knight you are), she did it all while making literally hundreds of cold calls and handwriting letters to grow her business and serving her clients with the level of diligence they have come to expect. Woman took precisely three days off (she gave birth on a Friday and was back working come Monday).

Anyway, it’s also a system that works well for when you’re returning to training after having time off for whatever reason.

Phil Tyreman
