Bald man contemplates mortality

“How would you feel if you found out you had terminal cancer?”

Was a thought that popped into my head on my early morning walk.

Ooh.

Dark.

Enough to get those who possess a shaky relationship with their mortality reaching for their comfort chinchillas, I am sure.

Nevertheless, it’s an interesting thought experiment for those who have the stones to confront the inevitable.

Had I asked myself the question a couple of years ago, I would not have been happy at all.

So much left undone, not to mention that I would enter this nightmare scenario knowing full well I hadn’t done everything I reasonably could to prevent it.

Sure, I was working and training hard, but nowhere near as hard as I could, nor with as much discipline as I was capable.

Not the legacy I would want to leave to my children knowing my particular judgement was imminent.

Fortunately, I did not have terminal cancer at the time which has afforded me the opportunity to “do better”.

And, at the risk of sounding like a braggart, I certainly have.

Not only have I lost count of the exact number of books I have written in the last year or so (creating assets that, I hope, will offer both material and immaterial benefits to my growing collection of children) but I can truly say that I’m doing my level best on the training, eating, and living fronts.

Specifically, I have finally grown out of my childish attitude towards cardio – now walking a substantial distance every day without fail for the first time since 2017 and doing hard conditioning consistently for the first time in my life.

You may have a similar gap in an otherwise sound training schedule that needs closing for the benefit of your health and vitality. Or maybe you have accepted that you need to start training “properly” because it’s something every responsible man (and woman) does.

Either way, I suspect my three month programme can help.

It’s called:

“Silver Era Secrets”
