An open letter to my older readers

Believe it or not, the people who benefit most from my teachings tend to be of a more distinguished vintage.

There are a handful of reasons for this including:

1. They are interested in learning training methodologies that are intrinsically safe, knowing full well that an injury (even a minor one) could set them back many months or even terminate their ability to train altogether, with all the misery that entails.

2. They possess the intellect and attention span to read, consider, adapt, and apply nuanced and, at times, complex information, and…

3.  They’re bold enough to ask questions or even challenge my teachings (unlike the yoof of today who mess their delicate panties at the thought of asking for an extra sachet of ketchup).

4. And when they do, they actually do as I say, recognising and deferring to my superior knowledge and experience.

5. They also have a genuine reason to train so don’t skip workouts half as often as younger folk who are yet to feel the chill of Old Father Time’s bitter embrace.

6. Lastly, incidences of “personal responsibility” allergies (not to mention the various ‘tisms plaguing younger folk that I am sure are absolutely genuine and nothing to do with how convenient it is to have an unassailable excuse for poor behaviour, failure, and so on) are so low as to be almost non-existent among the older cohort.

There are some more reasons than that, but those are the main ones.

Anyway, there is no real “point” to today’s email, except to encourage my older readers (and younger ones, provided they possess all the aforementioned characteristics) to consider becoming a client of mine.

You see, I’m currently recruiting for my revamped (and vastly improved) weight loss offering, wherein I will be teaching my straightforward, honest “Training First” approach to a carefully selected handful of brave souls on a private (one to one) and open ended (pay monthly, no contract) basis.

If that has piqued your interest, here is what to do now:

1. Take the “Training Confidence Quiz” at the below URL,

2. Read your results carefully to see if you agree with my appraisal of your situation,

3. Book a call (calendar is at the bottom of the results page), and we’ll talk.
