All hail the mighty cucumber

Earlier today, I took a walk to town with my youngest, Marcus while Connie was at nursery and Jess was at work.

(I do the balance of the childcare alongside running the business, and don’t find it taxing at all – much to the chagrin of feminist grifters who want you to believe balancing the two is the Hardest Thing Evarrrrr).

We stopped for a snack, and my little Cherub chowed down on a chunk of cucumber, as he always does.

Yes, you read that right.

In fact, so eager is he to eat his prize, I have to hide it from him while I purchase it lest he get antsy.

Contrast this with the experiences of parents whose children have a meltdown at the mere sight of fruit and vegetables.

What is the difference?

Parents who find the notion that their attitudes and actions are reflected in the attitudes and actions of their children offensive will say that I’m just “lucky”.

The reality is, of course, very different.

Marcus (and Connie) enjoy eating healthily because they see Jess and I eating healthily every day without fail.

Hence, we don’t need to convince, cajole, or coerce them into nourishing their bodies with fresh salads and hearty meat dishes.

Bottom line:

Children are the reflection of their parents.

So if you want your current or hypothetical future children to thrive, the onus is on you to lead by example.

This starts with losing weight, if you are overweight or obese.

Something I explain how to do using a three phase system that involves training with discipline and intent (albeit not as hard nor as frequently as you might expect) and a simple way of eating (with no calorie counting, weighing, or tracking whatsoever).

You will find it in my latest work:

“The Weight Loss Manifesto”.

You can currently pre-order it for £10.

However.

I have decided to close the pre-order window on Sunday the 14th of July at 23:59.

The price will go up after that. Probably not by much, but it will go up somewhat; so I’d get to pre-ordering now, if you decide “The Weight Loss Manifesto” is right for you and you would like to get it for the best possible price.

Thank you,

Phil Tyreman

P.S. I have been asked why “The Weight Loss Manifesto” is so much cheaper than my other books, even though it is of comparable length to a couple of them.

My answer is, the information within is so important – potentially life-saving for the right person – so I didn’t want the price to be a barrier.
