A splash of ice-cold water to the face

Yesterday, I appeared on the “Small Business, Big Network” podcast (which has been rated in the top 5 marketing podcasts on Apple Podcasts).

One of the first things the host, eminent voice-over artist Liz Drury, did was ask me to explain the problems I solve for the men I serve.

Here’s approximately what I said:

Over the years, I’ve observed the following among men who take their training seriously.

“Something” happens to make them want to kick their training into high gear. Perhaps they see an unflattering photograph, or maybe they pull a pair of trousers out of the cupboard that they haven’t worn for a while to find they don’t fit anymore.

Whatever it is, it hits like a splash of ice-cold water to the face and they decide to go “all in” on their training and diet. The specifics differ from person to person. Some find a free programme online or attempt to write their own. Others hire an online coach or local personal trainer.

So far, so good.

But here’s the problem:

Eventually, they fall off the wagon and lose whatever results they’ve hitherto worked so hard to gain.

And why do they fall off the wagon?

Simply, a training programme and/or dietary approach don’t solve the underlying reasons why they’re out of shape. Even working with a coach is seldom sufficient because most coaches won’t dare challenge their clients’ bad habits and attitudes.

Not me, though.

I’m in the business of teaching men how to break this cycle once and for all.

That’s why I don’t promise you anything “new” or “exciting” training-wise.

It may surprise you to learn that all of us fitness coaches sell essentially the same thing in this regard because only a few methodologies have been proven to work reliably and predictably for most people.

I will, however, promise to challenge you and make you think.

For example, if you were to avail yourself of the “virtually unlimited” email support you get as part of a subscription to The Phil Tyreman Letter, you can expect a clear, detailed response explaining in no uncertain terms what you need to do to get the results you crave.

You may not like what I have to say, but deep down, you’ll know it’s true.

Anyway, if what I’ve just written has struck a chord, and you’d like all the support you could ever need to break the cycle and get reliable, predictable, sustainable results worthy of your hard work and dedication, all the info about The Phil Tyreman Letter is below:

Thank you,

Phil Tyreman

P.S. The podcast will be available in the first week of February. I’ll certainly mention it in an email for those who want to listen to it upon release.
