a cornucopia of medical misery

Message from a friend:

===

“How many people are you [censored] off on LinkedIn with your posts? Any fatties direct messaging you abuse? Tell me it’s so.”

===

Sadly, it is not so.

Mainly because I’ve only been using the platform for a month and a bit, so my following is very small. However, I’m confident I’ll start getting my fair share of hate mail from apoplectic fat people with personal responsibility allergies eventually.

But even then, experience tells me I won’t get a whole lot.

Why?

Because writing hate mail takes effort, and if there’s one thing these people cannot abide, it’s putting in effort.

At work, at home, with their partner or their kids – it matters not.

Oh, sure, they’ll *say* they care, but their actions tell a different story.

For instance, you cannot claim a man who feeds his kids ultra-processed poison because he’s “too busy” to cook them something from fresh ingredients cares about them in any meaningful way.

I shall explain:

Everyone with an IQ greater than potato knows full well that awful diets cause obesity. Moreover, we all know obesity causes a cornucopia of medical misery that includes (but is not limited to): heart disease, certain types of cancer, stroke, and so on.

So, to feed your kids this stuff for your own convenience is – at best – neglect.

You can say this is harsh; you cannot say it’s untrue.

My point?

Words are meaningless absent action.

You can say you want something, and you might even believe very strongly that you want it, but your actions (or lack thereof) reveal where your priorities lie.

To quote the legendary Ronnie Coleman:

===

“Everybody wanna be a bodybuilder, but nobody wanna lift no heavy [censored] weights.”

===

I concede it’s not easy to look in the mirror and examine your own hypocrisy. I’ve done it more times than I care to remember and trust me when I say it actually gets harder as you get older.

But do it you must, if you’re serious about building a powerful physique, living a healthier, happier life and, ultimately, becoming the man your family deserves.

And on that note:

My diary is once again open for private calls. (For a limited time).

However, I need to filter those who simply want to pick my large and shapely brain from those who recognise they need help but aren’t sure if I’m the man for the job.

To that end, I charge £150 for an hour.

You’ll get that back if I decide I can’t help you or we agree to work together.

I think this is fair, but only you can decide if that’s the case from your perspective.

If you’d like to talk, reply to this email with your name using the subject line CALL, and I’ll send you an invoice.

Once paid, I’ll send you a link to my calendar wherein you can book a time to suit.

Thank you,

Phil Tyreman
