This is a fairly long post and it is entirely commercial in nature.
So if that’s a problem you are welcome to check out now.
Otherwise, we begin:
I offer a three month programme for people who want to learn a sustainable method for getting strong and in shape.
There are two operative words in that sentence.
The first operative word is “learn”.
You will be given all of the information, advice, and support needed to write and execute your own training programmes.
Meaning that you will be fully equipped to continue making progress for many years after we have parted ways, subject to the obvious caveat of you consuming my teachings and asking for help when you need it.
The second operative word is “sustainable”.
Conventional training methods often (but not always) ask too much of you.
Not so much in terms of effort, which if you are reading this I am confident you are prepared to give. But rather the sheer grinding reality of trying to squeeze three or four gym sessions in with cardio on top alongside your obligations to work and family – not to mention your hobbies and other interests.
Under such circumstances sessions are often sub-par (because you are some combination of tired and stressed) or missed altogether (because you simply don’t have time for them) causing frustration and resentment that begets a pernicious cycle of ever increasing numbers of sub-par and missed sessions.
The result of this?
One of two, in my experience:
* You quit, correctly reasoning that you have better things to do with your time than smash face into wall at the gym and out on the road for little or no results. Or,
* You double down by training even harder, making the problem worse (because you are now extremely fatigued from training on top of everything else) and probably picking up a nasty injury or three.
It’s for this reason that the approach I teach involves much fewer weekly training sessions than you are probably used to seeing.
However.
This is the way it has to be for the man or woman whose life cannot revolve around the pursuit of fitness, if they would like to still be training (and reaping the rewards of training) five, ten, twenty, or more years from now.
To be clear:
You not being able or even willing to set things up so you can lift four to six times per week, smash out three or more cardio sessions, count every calorie, meticulously track your macros, monitor your sleep, and so on, and so on does not mean you lack commitment.
It’s just The Way Things Are™ for anyone who isn’t locked in a state of perpetual adolescence.
What’s the catch?
Progress comes much more slowly using my methods.
I cannot overstate how long it can potentially take for you to achieve results that you are truly satisfied with.
With this in mind, don’t come into this thinking you are going to look or perform significantly better by the end of our three months together.
Three months (roughly 12 weeks) is the blink of an eye and nowhere near enough time to see substantial change unless you are following something based on bodybuilding pageant prep or athletic peaking methods. (And using these approaches is a large part of the reason you’re struggling.)
So.
If you want to learn how to train in a way that truly enhances your life, I recommend you at least check out the full sales page for my three-month programme.
If you are satisfied with what you see, now is the best possible time to take the leap, as the price is going up significantly in a couple of days (23:59 on Wednesday the 8th, to be precise).
