That ain’t normal, I’m afraid

None of what I’m about to say will be relevant to you if you’re perfectly happy with your physique and are making reliable, sustainable progress in your training.

(Quite why you’d be reading my emails if that was the case, I do not know, but whatever).

On the other hand, if you are trying very hard yet failing to get in shape or simply not getting results commensurate with the effort you’re putting in, you will learn much.

Onward.

Here’s the truth, uncomfortable as it is:

You are struggling because something is wrong with how you’re training.

Bluntly, it’s not normal to hit the gym two, three, four, five, or more times per week yet still feel a little (or a lot) ashamed of your body.

Nor should you be feeling sleepy mid-afternoon, gasping for breath after charging about with your kids (perhaps avoiding it altogether for that reason), or battling to make even a tiny bit of progress with your lifting and cardio.

Why?

‘Cuz these are all problems training hard, eating right, and living well are supposed to alleviate.

So it stands to reason that if you have these problems something is terribly amiss.

Your options now?

1) Continue as you are, trying and failing to reap the benefits you’re supposed to get from training, at best wasting your time and, at worst, exposing yourself to tremendous risk of harm when you inevitably smash your face into the wall under the (incorrect) assumption that you’re not training hard enough.

2) Join me for my new programme, “Silver Era Secrets” wherein you will develop the necessary skills to make consistent progress in your training for years to come and get my bountiful personal, private support as you put those skills into action.

The second option is the superior of the two, in my biased opinion.
