Here’s a thought:
Looking “ripped” is a thing a lot of men want.
Problem is, you can only get it with drugs — regardless of whether you’re up against it with family and work or business or a student with nothing better to do.
(Unless you’re carrying very little muscle, of course. But abs on skinny guy are as unremarkable and unattractive as big bewbs on a fat girl).
Anyway.
This realisation puts a lot of guys off.
Makes them think if they can’t grate cheese on their torso, then what’s the point at all?
It’s a fair question, albeit one with an encouraging answer:
Training with discipline and intent is a virtuous act.
Ergo, the results you get from the activity are, frankly, neither here nor there and you should ignore anyone who says otherwise because they are a Class-A Idiot with profound self-esteem issues.
But here’s the thing:
Provided you train hard and consistently, some results are inevitable.
Will they blow your mind?
Probably not.
Likewise they’ll almost certainly take a lot longer to emerge than you might expect, although not all that long in the grand scheme of life.
But they’ll come.
If you stick at it.
Not easy to do, when you’ve a heap of other responsibilities that are just as important as training vying for your precious time and attention.
Which is why learning to navigate the various disruptive obstructions is mandatory – if you’re serious about getting a powerful physique and leading a healthier, happier life for yourself and for the sake of your family.
So.
