Lazy weightlifter has a "come to Jesus" moment and creates a running system just about anyone can use to start pounding the pavements towards getting...

Lean and Healthy

"I'm not going to sit here and pretend I enjoy running because I don't and doubt I ever will."

"However, you cannot deny that running is the most efficient and effective way to get into shape. That's why I created this system for maximum benefit with minimum pain."

Dear Friend,

If you would like a straightforward method to take you from not running at all to running respectable distances multiple times per week, you may be interested in:

"The Running Starter Kit"

This short (8 A4 pages) report explains how to do the above, without fuss or hassle, and in a way that fits seamlessly alongside most sensible training programmes.

Here’s a summary of what’s inside:

  • How to minimise the risk of picking up a debilitating injury from running (ignoring this will likely lead to burnout at best, a training-terminating injury at worst, and you losing all your hard-won progress either way).
  • One thing you must make a fixed, firm part of your routine to build up the “baseline fitness” you need for longer runs.
  • The key to getting a sense of accomplishment from running, so you’ll keep doing it long term (believe it or not, it has nothing whatsoever to do with how fast or far you go).
  • “The Simplest Running Programme Ever” – a system basically anyone can use to work up to long(er) runs.
  • The “secret” to running longer distances few runners are brave enough to admit for fear of backlash.
  • What I believe is the best distance to start with (it’s probably much shorter than you think, and you may be surprised by how effective even these very modest runs are at torching fat).
  • How to make sure you have time to do your runs – even if you’re busy.
  • What separates men who like the idea of getting into shape from those who are deadly serious about it (a harsh lesson, for sure – but an important one nonetheless).
  • The best pace to run at to ensure you go the distance and get a solid workout (not applicable to those who want to compete at running, but ideal for the man who runs to be fitter and leaner).

Now for a few warnings:

“The Running Starter Kit” is NOT for you if…

  1. You are more concerned with how a product looks than the information within (I’m printing these on my personal printer using regular printer paper).
  2. You prefer to watch videos or listen to audio because you find reading difficult.
  3. You judge worth by how much “stuff” you get rather than the value it provides.
  4. You want an electronic copy (the report is ONLY available on Real Paper).
  5. You are already a competent, confident runner (the system is designed to get you to that point, so it makes little sense to buy if you’re already there).
  6. You are suffering from some illness, injury, or other impediment that makes exercise unsafe.

If you’re still with me, a copy of “The Running Starter Kit” will set you back an almighty £6.50.

Postage is via Royal Mail Second Class at my expense. I’ll print, sign, package, and send your copy the same day I get your order if it comes in before 1200 or the next day for orders after midday and those made on Sundays.

There are no guarantees or refunds beyond the 14 days I am obliged to give to comply with consumer protection legislation.

Alright, that’s everything.

Thank you,

Phil Tyreman

P.S. Please do not purchase “The Running Starter Kit” if you already own either a copy of my book “The Conditioning Codex” or the March 2024 issue of “The Phil Tyreman Letter” as you’ll be paying for the same information twice.

“The Running Starter Kit” is no longer for sale in this format.

Frequently Asked Questions

I cannot promise specific results.

“The Running Starter Kit” contains a system you can use to go from not running at all to running respectable distances multiple times per week.

Whether or not that actually happens is entirely down to you.

Four reasons:

  1. Someone else getting a result is no guarantee you will get anything like the same.
  2. Lighting and other photographical shenanigans make it easy for results to appear better than they are in real life.
  3. Looking a certain way on a certain day for a picture tells you nothing about whether those results are sustainable in the long term (which is what you actually want).
  4. Posting posed, partially clothed pictures on the internet is degenerate.

No.

Unless you want to run on a treadmill but don’t own one.

Not that I’m a fan of running on treadmills because it’s a bit weird.

Yes.

If you don’t like it, don’t buy it.

Define “super fit”.

If you’re already capable of running good distances multiple times per week without issue then no, this is not for you.

On the other hand, if you are, for example, a regular weightlifter who thinks himself fit yet struggles to run a mile at a decent pace then this could be worth buying (but please read the sales letter carefully before committing).

Potentially.

The answer ultimately depends on why you’ve not trained in a long time (or ever).

If it’s because of a health condition and/or injury you need to go see an appropriately qualified medical professional and follow their advice.

If it’s because you’re a lazy so-and-so and you’re ready to not only admit that but do something about it then this little report could be just the thing you need.

Tell me and return the book within 14 days of receiving the book, and I will issue a refund.

You have to cover the cost of posting the report back to me.

After that, there are no refunds.
