Controversial personal trainer shows you a safe, sustainable, yet highly effective way to...

Get a back like a nacho and legs like a horse

These methods are designed exclusively for those who have made the wise decision to train without taking steroids or other so called "performance-enhancing" drugs.

So while they're not flashy and require a bunch of patient effort, they're perfect for hard workers who desire lifelong health and vitality over looking like a freak and keeling over before hitting the state pension age.

Dear Friend,

If you want a thick back and powerful legs continue reading.

It’s no secret that the back and legs are the two most neglected muscle groups.

Why?

Truth be told, many are understandably hesitant to train them, given the real and present danger of…

Aggravating old injuries or adding a new one to their “collection”

However.

A bold minority still want to build muscle and strength in their legs and back because they know it’s the key to preventing pain and injury in the long run – as well as creating a rock-solid foundation to enhance their results in all other aspects of their training.

If that’s you, then you may be interested in:

"The Back and Legs Bundle"

Yours Baldly looking very pensive duing a totally-not-staged photoshoot Jess did for me a few years ago

Here’s the deal: The Back and Legs Bundle consists primarily of the February 2024 and May 2024 issues of my paper and ink newsletter, plus supplementary material (some of which is unavailable elsewhere).

Combined, they provide a toolbox of safe, effective methods for training your legs and back you can dip into as you wish for sustainable results.

Behold an overview of what’s inside:

  • The one simple, cheap tool you can use to build “dad strength”  in only a couple of hours per week (or, potentially, less) without setting foot in the gym.
  • What is, in my humble (and correct) opinion, the “king of exercises” – without which your results will always fall short of your hopes, no matter how hard you train.
  • How to safeguard yourself against the most common cause of death from injury (I concede this mainly affects older people, but you need to start now to mitigate the risk of an inglorious end in the future).
  • The three significant reasons the back takes the inglorious crown of “second least trained muscle group”.
  • A straightforward five-step system for getting strong and shapely legs through mastering the barbell back squat – even if you’ve never tried this exercise before or haven’t done it in a long time.
  • Why it’s best to take a “high-frequency, low/moderate intensity” approach to training back if you want to get bigger and stronger quickly – while mitigating the risk of a serious injury (plus how to do it).
  • How my favourite client of all time (a delightful 70-something-year-old lady who once gifted me a huge bottle of vodka from Siberia) put 90% of male lifters to shame, and the three things we can learn from her enviable attitude.
  • The “choose your own adventure book”  approach to picking back exercises I’ve used for many years to keep training back fun and fresh without compromising my results.
  • One thing guys who complain about pain in their back, hips, and knees have in common – and the solution, dull and challenging as it is (which is probably why only the most dedicated have the stones for it).

Alrighty, that’s the bundle

Next, the:

Bonus Material

Which includes, but is not limited to:

  • One simple posture-improving exercise you can perform in mere minutes in a way that seamlessly slides into your existing routine.
  • An insult beloved of the late, great Vince Gironda (champion bodybuilder, personal trainer to movie stars, and all-around genius) that, if it applies to you, could herald much misery and pain.
  • A short, sharp kick up the backside in the form of a programme that, executed correctly, will help you cut unsightly and potentially lethal bodyfat (even better, it’s employs a specific method that’s incredible at building the coveted “Dad Strength” rather quickly).
  • A trap that ensnares earnest, hardworking sorts readily fall into when planning their training, leading them to burnout and, in some cases, training-terminating injuries.
  • Two underrated exercises for slapping muscle on ye olde frame.
  • The unblemished truth about how long it really takes to get results when your life does not revolve around training (clients I have shared this with have told me it took a huge load off of their shoulders).
  • A Very Special Article, penned by my thin, attractive wife Jess that is a “must read” for anyone who gets anxious about training the squat.

Altogether, you’re getting 59 A4 printed pages of material containing a shade over 15,000 words of my finest thoughts on the critical matter of building muscle and strength in the legs and back efficiently and effectively.

A copy is yours for £100.

Frequently Asked Questions

I cannot promise specific results.

The material in the newsletters is written to help you get a bigger, stronger, and more resilient back and pair of legs.

Whether that actually happens is entirely down to you.

Four reasons:

  1. Someone else getting a result is no guarantee you will get anything like the same.
  2. Lighting and other photographical shenanigans make it easy for results to appear better than they are in real life.
  3. Looking a certain way on a certain day for a picture tells you nothing about whether those results are sustainable in the long term (which is what you actually want).
  4. Posting posed, partially clothed pictures on the internet is degenerate.

For best results, you will need access to a gym with a squat rack and olympic bar.

Unless you are fortunate enough to have a sizeable home gym, this requires a gym membership.

You could potentially do bodyweight and/or dumbbell variations of the lifts (you may still choose to do so for some of them, even with access to an olympic bar), but I’d be lying if I said doing these exclusively is anywhere near as efficient or effective.

Provided you’re prepared to admit you don’t know everything you will likely enjoy what I have to teach you.

If not, give this a miss.

Potentially.

The answer ultimately depends on why you’ve not trained in a long time (or ever).

If it’s because of a health condition and/or injury you need to go see an appropriately qualified medical professional and follow their advice.

If it’s because you’re a lazy so-and-so and you’re ready to not only admit that but do something about it then these newsletters could be just the thing you need.

Tell me and return the book within 14 days of receiving the book, and I will issue a refund.

You have to cover the cost of posting the newsletters back to me.

After that, there are no refunds.
